The universe...

Today, I was reading a book "A brief history of time" written by Stephen Hawking. I would recommend the book for everyone who like to study more about the universe and explore the cosmos...

This field has been of interest to me for a long time now. Even when I chose computing as my primary field, I was keeping a watch on this...

This book gave me some questions: Is there a negative time??? When did the concept of time start??? Is there something called absolute zero when it comes to time???

Anyway, I am not wasting your time trying to answer that... Because time is precious, and Time once lost can never be recovered...

Now, everyone interested in how the universe came to be as we see it today, can read on... This is simply an idea I captured from that book...
There, a concept called Big-Crunch has been introduced, something I hadn't come across till now... I have surely come across the Big-Bang, but never this!!! Also, a model called Friedmann model has been introduced...

Now, before the Big Bang, everything was concentrated on to a infinitely dense center of the universe (even if we can't physically define such a centre!!!)... But then, at some instant (what I call the absolute-zero of time), it simply exploded, and the particles and cosmic energy generated, finally became what all we see today!!!
This brings us to the realization that we are nothing when compared to the universe!!!
As an aftermath of the explosion, the chunks simply rushed out in different directions, and segregated... That's the known fact... But the book also checks whether there is a possibility of a Big Crunch... And it has been based on the Friedmann model...

So, let me analyze it in my own way... I am not an expert in this field... But I will record some observations here... You are all free to correct me, if I am wrong...

Now, post the Big Bang, all the particles were completely scattered. But, recent observations show that the bodies are moving away from each other!!! This brings us to a startling conclusion!!! The universe is still expanding...
Now...why is this happening??? I will never say that they are still accelerating... If not, they would have almost reached the speed of light!!! That has not happened... So, either they are not accelerating, or they are beginning to decelerate...

Now, let us consider the scenario... If the bodies are decelerating, the gravity would slowly overpower them and they would slowly collapse to a point, bringing us back to square one - The event of Big-Crunch...

Now, consider the alternate scenario... The bodies initially accelerated due to the power of the Big Bang explosion... But all the particles had begun to exert their own gravitational forces and that would pull the particles in all directions!!! Now, we can define a terminal velocity for the bodies, that came from the constant interactions of the other bodies. So, the heavenly bodies are simply drifting in the constant velocity and expanding...
Now, let us look at the Friedmann model... It models the bodies like on a balloon... ie, on the surface of a sphere, that is free to expand in all directions... Now, merging both ideas, what do you get???

The heavenly bodies are simply expanding in a constant velocity, as if on the surface of a sphere... This explains the expansion of the universe, and still eliminates the possibility of a Big Crunch!!! This has been adopted from the 3rd Friedmann model...
I have seriously taken up this concept since research shows that the heavenly bodies are moving away from us, but at a constant pace... And they may not converge again!!!

Now, I have already mentioned that I am not an expert in the field... So, this is never the last word, and everyone is free to correct me...
If you feel that this is correct, please do spread the news... It might eventually reach someone who is expert enough to comment on this... And finally, I will have my answer...

Intro...

Greetings all...

I have been thinking about what to write in this one for a long time now... I finally decided to write something for the readers.

Some may be thinking why the name "neowissenschaft.blogspot.com". This is a name I put with the help of Google Translate... Neo means "new" and Wissenschaft means "science"...

Some of you may not be interested too much in science. But it is not the case with me. I am a fan of science. I am always fascinated by what it offers for us, and what all it explains. Science has taught us how we are able to even walk. You can see that science is in everything in this world. Almost any phenomenon in this world can be explained using science. Thats why I named this SCIENCE TODAY. I have been "living" with science for a long time now. I am not leaving it and it is not leaving me. Here, I will be presenting some of my observations and speculations in some daily activities from the scientific point of view. It may or may not be proven scientifically. I will also try to give the readers some things about the new scientific advancements here.

So, get ready for a scientific treat.
